Vallean Jackson is a native of Birmingham, AL. and a Jacksonville State University graduate. She majored in communication with a minor in biology. Outside of being an Author, she loves journalism about as much as she loves being an Author. As the owner of VX Publishing LLC, she is striving to manifest a successful business that changes perspectives and communities through the empowerment of words. Her mission with her company is to re-define literature and history one page at a time. Her genres of books include; children’s books, urban fiction (romance & street lit), self healing journals, empowerment, and education.
